Purpose of the roll
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to enhance IT Operation Management (ITOM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), IT Service Management (ITSM) and other business processes. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, configuring workflows, and optimizing the ServiceNow platform to align with business needs. You will ensure the platform's stability, security, and performance while driving innovation through automation and integration.
Key Responsabilities
· Manage and resolve Incidents and Service Requests within defined SLAs, ensuring timely restoration of services and high user satisfaction.
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide functional and technical resolution for issues across ServiceNow modules
· Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow reports, dashboards, applications, modules, and workflows to meet evolving business requirements.
· Implement and maintain core ServiceNow capabilities including SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Virtual Agent, and Now Assist.
· Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into effective solutions.
· Design, develop, and manage integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and scripting (JavaScript).
· Own end-to-end delivery of tasks and projects, from requirement definition through development, testing, and deployment.
· Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to IT governance policies and best practices.
· Provide technical support, end-user training, and guidance to drive adoption and effective platform usage.
· Work in an Agile delivery model, independently lead initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, and stay current with ServiceNow releases and best practices.
Education, Experience and Languaje
· Ability to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
· Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, PowerShell, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs, and UI development (HTML, CSS).
· Automation & Scripting: Experience in scripting and workflow automation in ServiceNow.
· ServiceNow Modules: Strong knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, SPM or other modules Advantage.
· Tools & Platforms: Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Virtual Agent, Now Assist and MID Server.
· Communication Skills: Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
· Agile: Familiarity with SCRUM and Project management Agile methodologies.
Relevant Experience:
· 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments: mandatory.
· Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud and on-premises applications.
· ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS-HRSD & CIS-SPM certifications must require.
· ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping knowledge is plus
