SAP Security Manager 

Global Functions, is hiring for a SAP Security Manager to be based at Brazil!

Purpose 

The SAP Security Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security controls across the organization's SAP landscape, including S/4HANA, ECC, CFIN, and related platforms. This role ensures that SAP environments are secure, compliant with regulatory and internal standards, and aligned with enterprise risk management policies.

Main Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and continuously improve SAP security architecture, controls, and configurations across all environments.
• Develop and maintain SAP-specific security standards, hardening guides, and technical procedures aligned with enterprise policies.
• Lead the deployment and operation of SAP security toolsets, including ARM, logging integrations, and code scanning solutions.
• Collaborate with SAP architects and BASIS teams to define and enforce secure-by-design principles for SAP infrastructure and applications.
• Provide deep technical expertise to resolve complex SAP security issues, including audit findings, log gaps, and integration challenges.
• Work with enterprise security architects to ensure SAP systems align with global security patterns and zero trust models.
• Ensure SAP security telemetry is integrated into enterprise SIEM, enabling real-time monitoring and alerting.
• Lead efforts to identify and protect crown jewel assets within SAP, using a tiered, risk-based security model.
• Act as a liaison with audit, compliance, and internal controls teams to support assessments and demonstrate control effectiveness.
• Ensure that global security services (e.g., PAM, endpoint protection, identity services) are embedded and effective in SAP environments.
• Contribute to the broader enterprise security strategy, with a focus on integrating SAP security requirements and risk drivers. 

Knowledge/ Experience Required 

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security architecture, engineering, and compliance.
• Proven experience securing SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and Fiori environments, including both standard and custom application landscapes.
• Practical knowledge of SAP security toolsets for vulnerability management, access governance, audit logging, and compliance automation.
• Experience designing and implementing SAP security controls to support SOX readiness and internal audit requirements (preferred).
• Strong grasp of threat models relevant to SAP platforms, with experience applying technical countermeasures in complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to SAP and hybrid/cloud architectures, with working knowledge of securing SAP services in cloud-hosted or SaaS models.
