2. MAIN PURPOSE (Briefly state the job's overall objective)

Achieve his/her sales and EBITDA budget as well as develop new businesses in accordance with the strategy set by the commercial head.

Maintain Alphagary’s market presence and growth through the sale and promotion of its product line both in the domestic and the export markets at the highest profit possible.

To determine which markets are high-value and fast-growing and provide feedback to the business in order to be better positioned to serve those markets.

To establish a steady operation in the region through the management of the local branch office and warehouse.

Be accountable for the inventory sent in and shipped out of the local warehouse.

Annual Volume = 15,000 metric tons

Sales = 37 million USD

Responsible for inventory worth = 810,000 USD

 

4. SCOPE OF THE JOB i.e. Scope (Regional, Global, Local),

 

Regional: Guadalajara

 

 

5. COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB i.e. The occupant manages vendors from different geographical regions with various financial and legal conditions, level and impact of decisions the occupant needs to make.

 

The position requires to ensure a steady commercial operation with customers in order to maintain the continuous operation of the production sites. The position requires to be aware of market tendencies through pricing reports and frequent market participants’ feedback in order to maintain the continuity.

 

The position requires to interact with all areas of the business, effectively communicate and coordinate them to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 

The position requires to interact with customers from different geographical regions, cultures, markets, sizes and financial and legal conditions.

 

The position requires to ensure a steady operation within the warehouse through management of a team, administrative management of the warehouse and through building strong relationships with customers, internal logistics from the plants and external transport suppliers.

6. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

a) Achieve his/her sales and EBITDA budget.

b) Maintain an active pipeline of business opportunities for growth.

c) Be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of competitors to maintain market share and maximize EBITDA.

d) Keep a close relationship with customers to identify growth opportunities and threats to the continuity of sales.

e) Bring relevant information from the market to the business as input for the strategic planning (Market share studies, new business opportunities, SWOT analysis)

f) Put forward and discuss strategies to better position the business in the market with the comercial head.

g) Manage the relationship between customer and all areas of the business (Collections, logistics, customer service).

h) Bring input to optimize the plant’s production program

i) Manage the team at the Warehouse in order to ensure a steady operation.

j) Match and report inventories to the financial team.

8. EDUCATION

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree

Desirable: Masters in Business Administration

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (To perform satisfactorily in this job what types of qualification or knowledge are required?)

 

The position requires to have basic financial knowledge.

The position requires to have strong knowledge of plastics, especially on PVC and its additives and applications.

 

 

10. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (To perform satisfactorily in this job what types of experience is required?)

5 Year minimum experience on sales in the PVC Market.

 

 

11. LANGUAGES REQUIRED
