People Business Partner

As a People Business Partner, you will support and execute core HR programs and day-to-day people priorities for a defined business group. Working closely with global stakeholders, you will drive the people agenda across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring high standards of service, confidentiality, and compliance.

 

This role supports the India GCC (100–200 employees across IT, Finance, HR, and Support functions) and operates within a global reporting structure. Compared to typical GCC roles, this position offers broader scope (less siloed, more ownership), the opportunity to shape processes and deliver tangible impact, and high visibility with global stakeholders.

Hybrid setup: 3 days in the office (Mon–Wed), plus one additional flexible day.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: hiring, onboarding, probation follow-ups, internal movements, and exits.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries, resolving or routing effectively.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, documentation, timelines, policy adherence).
  • Support employee relations, ensuring structured documentation, fair handling, and timely resolution.
  • Drive engagement initiatives and track execution of action plans.
  • Maintain HR dashboards (headcount, attrition, hiring, performance metrics) and support reporting needs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes and support audits/documentation where required.
  • Own day-to-day HR operations (Admin, Payroll, onboarding) with a hands-on approach.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree/diploma in HR, Business, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • Min 5 years of experience in HRBP or generalist roles. Experience supporting corporate functions and/or GCC environments preferred.
  • Solid understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong data handling and reporting capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with ATS and HR systems/tools is required.
  • Languages: Hindi and English required both spoken and written
  • Proven ability to operate as a true business partner, challenging stakeholder requests, identifying root causes, and avoiding purely transactional execution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with discretion and sound judgment.
