Warehouse Receiver

Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, verification, documentation, and storage of inbound materials, supplies, and finished goods within warehouse operations. This position ensures all receiving transactions are processed accurately in SAP, maintains inventory integrity, supports material flow to production and warehouse operations, and follows company quality standards, ISO requirements, safety policies, and Lean operational practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive inbound materials, supplies, equipment, and finished goods in accordance with established receiving procedures.
Operate RF scanning equipment to accurately receive, identify, and track inventory transactions.
Cross-train in receiving, put-away, and material movement activities as required.
Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, bills of lading, and other receiving documentation.
Inspect incoming materials for visible damage, quantity accuracy, labeling requirements, and product condition.
Process receiving transactions accurately and timely within SAP.
Unload, identify, label, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Identify receiving discrepancies and communicate findings to leadership for investigation.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Perform inventory movements, transfers, and put-away transactions as required.
Maintain organized receiving docks, staging areas, and warehouse locations utilizing 5S principles.
Promote compliance with Netafim Quality Systems, ISO requirements, safety policies, and company procedures
Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
Follow standardized work instructions and support implementation of approved process improvements.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of warehouse, receiving, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Experience operating Forklift, Reach Truck, and Order Picker equipment preferred; certification required or ability to obtain certification.
Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as business needs require.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of warehouse receiving and material handling processes.
Knowledge of receiving documentation including purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
Experience processing receiving transactions in SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to transactional accuracy.
Ability to recognize and resolve routine receiving issues using established procedures.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP WM/EWM experience.
Experience working in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.
Knowledge of ISO quality systems and warehouse compliance requirements.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement programs.
Experience utilizing RF scanning equipment and mobile warehouse technology.

Our Offer:
“The compensation for this position will typically range from $18.50 - $22.50/hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
