Purpose
This integral role on the FP&A Team will need to have highly developed leadership skills, engage the correct people and discussions, have action oriented insights and drive cost efficiency. Principal activities will be to: manage the team’s Monthly/Quarterly calendar and provide assurance that key deliverables are being met; be a partner and process owner during month and quarter end close cycles; help to design and manage special projects; and to monitor manufacturing costs and capital investment across our business groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Help design and implement special projects to support requests from Executive Management and Business Groups
Own FP&A tasks associated with the monthly/quarterly close.
Lead implementation and compliance of company’s consolidated manufacturing cost analysis and reporting.
Develop manufacturing cost bridges
Prepare analysis of Conversion Cost performance against budget and prior year
Assist in review of capex investments projects, capex management process, and post-mortem analysis.
Assist FP&A team in consolidation of annual operating budget, KPIs and monthly forecasts.
Requirements:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting or related fieldDesirable: MBA (preferred)
Language(s) and level of proficiency: English (high level of proficiency)
Knowledge/Experience:
Greater than 5 year of experience in FP&A with at least one of those years having exposure to COGS and Manufacturing
Preferably with multi-national/global, manufacturing companies
Experience working in corporate environment
Working knowledge of financial reporting methods (IFRS, GAAP)
Knowledge of financial and non-financial KPI metrics (ROIC, working capital, productivity, etc.)
