Position Summary
Dura-Line is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager – APAC to drive business growth across key Asia-Pacific markets, with a primary focus on telecommunications operators, broadband providers, infrastructure developers, and their build partners.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies across the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Fiji, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.
The successful candidate will proactively engage decision-makers throughout the telecommunications ecosystem, identify new business opportunities, establish strategic channel partnerships, and position Dura-Line as the preferred solutions provider for fiber optic infrastructure projects throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep telecom industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of delivering growth across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned APAC territories.
- Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with telecom operators, broadband providers, contractors, consultants, EPC organizations, and infrastructure developers.
- Engage key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations to position Dura-Line as the preferred partner and solutions provider.
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, sales agents, and channel partners to improve market coverage and business growth.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while achieving revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, customer requirements, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, operations, product management, finance, and customer service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, quotations, bids, and contract discussions with customers and partners.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, international trade requirements, company policies, and local business practices.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, business reports, and market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business Management, International Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate business qualification is an advantage.
Experience
- 12–15+ years of successful sales and business development experience within the telecommunications, Datacom OSP (Outside Plant), fiber optics, broadband, connectivity infrastructure, cable, or related industries.
- Proven experience selling allied or complementary products and solutions to telecom operators, broadband providers, contractors, and infrastructure customers.
- Demonstrated success developing and growing business across Southeast Asia (SEA) and APAC markets.
- Strong understanding of the telecom ecosystem, including operators, contractors, consultants, distributors, and channel partners.
- Experience managing international business and exports from India into APAC markets.
- Knowledge of export regulations, Incoterms, international logistics, and cross-border commercial operations from India into the territory.
- Established network of industry contacts throughout Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
Language
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) required.
- Additional regional language capabilities will be considered an advantage.

- Sound understanding of fiber optic infrastructure, Datacom OSP solutions, telecommunications networks, and broadband deployment projects.
- Strong business acumen and customer-centric approach.

- Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategic accounts, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout APAC based on business requirements.
- Ability to attend customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and field visits across multiple countries.
- Capable of working effectively in office, remote, customer-site, and travel environments.
