We are currently looking for a Test Engineer to join us at Dedemsvaart the Netherlands. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
 

The Role

In this challenging position you are responsible for testing and evaluation of plastic products & materials for a number of above and below ground applications. Your primary role in this team is to prepare, schedule and execute mechanical and physical tests. You will be intensively working together in multidisciplinary product development teams. You will hierarchically report to the Laboratory Manager and functionally to the Project Leader(s).
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule and execute tests independently;
• Take part in innovation projects as laboratory representative and generate ideas for effective and efficient product and material testing in line with business requirements;
• Set-up, control and operate test equipment in compliance with selected test methods and prescribed procedures;
• Capture, interpret, report and present results and additional findings to stakeholders;
• Advice and facilitate decision making within innovation team based on product and material testing;
• Provide support with respect to corporate governance, ethics and business conduct, data protection and privacy;

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering, or Chemistry (HBO);
• 1st or 2nd step in your career;
• Affinity and / or experience with plastic products in an innovative environment;
• Passionate about testing & investigating innovative plastic products;
• Pro-active, result orientated, team player;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate in English (verbal & writing);
• Ambition to further develop.
