That’s why we are currently looking for European Raw Materials Supply Coordinator to join our team in the Netherlands or one of the following locations( Germany ,Poland, France, Belgium, Denmark, UK) . About the role:

 

As the Supply Coordinator for Raw Materials, you will be responsible for mid-term (3 to 6 months forecast) supply planning for specific raw material categories (Polyethylene/Polypropylene or PVC/Additives) across Europe, implementing the sourcing strategy effectively. Your main objective will be to establish proper monthly planning of raw materials across the Business Units and resolve issues in case of supply disruptions from suppliers.

Your role will include a thorough understanding of international trade processes. To succeed, you will need to build and maintain an adequate internal and external network to balance needs and fine-tune planning challenges. You will foster European supplier contacts (their internal sales/order desks) and work closely with stakeholders in Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure an adequate and uninterrupted flow of materials. This role will be closely aligned with the raw materials category manager.

 

You main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Manage the Raw Material demand to make the team and BU’s work efficiently and to make sure all KPI’s are met.
  • Contribute to the European-wide category sourcing plan, focusing on the benefits achievement and plans related to the specific sub-category.
  • Oversee and deliver annual planning and performance improvements in the relevant sub-category.
  • Contribute to the category process of selection of strategies, processes, and management of key suppliers.
  • Measure and track performance of sub-category and define improvement areas.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key groups of business stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key people in the supply process at raw material suppliers.
  • Manage the network of BU representatives for activities or projects related to the specific sub-category.
  • Preparation and lead of monthly Supply Meeting (based on the S&OP Process).
  • Adequate response to fulfilment performance and delivery issues with team.
  • Continuous drive for optimizing service level.
  • Development of knowledge and control to maintain relevant SAP masterdata.
  • Support Category Leader, Category Managers and Sales with relevant short term supply/demand information in order to facilitate commercial decision making.
  • Take care of accurate & timely reporting on key metrics like prices, volumes, (financial) bonusses and savings.
  • Develop and manage import / export process and related documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on Supplier OTIF performance.
  • Secure contract compliance, manage 100% compliance to WTC process for all raw materials, including new implementations where required, including LC process.
  • Support & co-ordinate short term quality complaints

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Extensive supply chain experience in an International environment (including procurement, import & export).
  • Manufacturing inventory management experience in a high volume environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills (advanced Excel skills and other tools).
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment.
  • Effective and proactive communication across all mediums to a wide audience.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders on different levels in the organization.
  • The role is by definition very cross-functionally oriented, therefore the candidate must present and evidence a level of awareness and understanding of Service, Procurement Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing.
  • Business experience, with understanding of procurement and planning
  • Expertise related to specific category.
  • Ability to argue persuasively for a course of action.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build bridges between people, functions, suppliers. Maintain a large network.
  • Proficient in English (written and oral)
  • Advances proficiency with SAP.
  • Continuously improvement methods
