Join us at Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin): Where purpose comes to life.
You’re purpose driven. Growth minded. Ready to stretch your potential. Welcome to Orbia’s Building & Infrastructure business, Wavin, where our purpose ‘to advance life around the world’ drives our entire global team.
Every day, we are thinking big and working smart to solve some of the toughest challenges impacting the world. Where purpose comes to life, it changes lives. This is what we work for. How about you?
At Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin), we advance life around the world by building healthy, sustainable environments. And where is our help most needed? The places we live in: cities where drinking water is leaking away, greenery is disappearing, streets are flooding after heavy rain, and outdated sewer systems are polluting our groundwater. It’s time to join our team and help build more sustainable environments!
We are currently looking for Digital Product Manager - Product Experience and Data to join us in Amsterdam Schiphol, Wavin Netherlands B.V., an Orbia business. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
Main purpose
This role is responsible for developing and implementing a market-leading digital product experience for structured product data — including product specifications, attributes, images, documents, and configuration tools — and ensuring this data supports all Wavin digital and print channels.
You will build and own a flexible but reliable product information ecosystem in close collaboration with other digital product managers, physical product managers, marketers, master data specialists, and e-commerce managers across our global organization.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality, structured product data and ensuring it is seamlessly managed, enriched, and presented across all customer touchpoints — from digital catalogs and configuration tools to printed materials — to create a reliable and engaging product experience.
This is a role with global scope with an opportunity to collaborate and contribute at global level.
Main responsibilities:
- Balance digital strategy, product vision, and stakeholder input to create and evolve the product roadmap
- Develop, own, and communicate the vision for how we manage and present product information across digital channels
- Drive implementation and governance of key solutions such as Akeneo (PIM) and Bynder (DAM)
- Ensure high-quality product data is available to all digital touchpoints — from digital catalogs to printed brochures to product configuration tools
- Collaborate with teams across regions to understand local needs and align them with global ambitions
- Translate user needs into actionable user stories, specifications, and sprint plans
- Guide system development and adoption, including documentation, training, and support
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to align roadmaps and ensure delivery
- Promote and support global data standards (e.g. ETIM, BMEcat) and scalable data governance
- Champion the importance of structured product data in delivering an excellent customer experience
Our requirements:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in digital business, e-commerce, technology, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in digital product development, preferably in a B2B manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong experience working in agile teams across international and cross-cultural contexts
- Proven track record managing or implementing PIM and DAM SaaS solutions (e.g., Akeneo, Bynder, inRiver, Salsify)
- Deep understanding of product data models, data governance principles, and product content structures
- Familiarity with e-commerce ecosystems, product classification standards (ETIM, BMEcat), and product feed integrations for digital and printed channels
- Knowledge of B2B and B2C e-commerce, including how product data supports customer experience and conversion
- Awareness of both the demand side (how customers use digital tools) and the supply side (emerging tech and systems capabilities)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and digital tooling to drive decisions
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and execution
- A proactive, curious mindset with a focus on customer value, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- A strong sense of ownership, perseverance, and team spirit — someone who gets things done and uplifts others
