Main Purpose

We are seeking a data-driven and proactive Commercial and Pricing Excellence Manager to support and optimize our global commercial excellence programs. This role is essential in delivering data insights, enhancing pricing models, and improving sales and customer service effectiveness. 

This role will collaborate across multiple functions to enable fact-based decision-making and ensure consistent delivery to our customers as well as leading commercial initiatives derived from our programs, facilitation of training, and providing analytical support to ensure consistent and effective deployments across regions.

The role will be focusing into Pricing Excellence and Analytics, complemented with a wider Commercial view regarding Sales Excellence and Pipeline management as well as process effectiveness and efficiencies in Customer Service.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify pricing trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, providing insights for the global commercial excellence programs

Pricing Framework Implementation: Establish and implement harmonized pricing structures and processes, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all regions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, finance, digital, and product teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and address any commercial-related challenges

Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams on processes, tools, and best practices to ensure effective implementation in the field.

Consultative Strategy Development: Collaborate with local market teams to assess their unique commercial challenges and opportunities, providing tailored recommendations that align with global objectives and local market conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or business analytics within  B2B manufacturing or industrial sectors
• Familiarity with ERP, Pricing software and analytical tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, Power BI, pricing optimization tools)
• Experience working in a global or multi-national context, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth
