Internal Audit Manager

Orbia Global Functions, is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to be based at Mexico City!

Purpose

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the effectiveness of the audit function within the organization.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare audit plans and execute assigned audit engagements
Monitor audit progress and budgets
Schedule and perform audit tests
Prepare high-quality audit documentation (working papers)
Supervise and manage assigned audit team
Discuss audit observations and action plans with auditees
Monitor implementation of audit observations
Manage the audit function in the region and interact with key stakeholders
Propose improvements for audited entities and the IA department
Execute additional tasks (ad hoc audits and special investigations)

Minimum Qualifications

- English proficiency
- Accountant or similar
- At least 10 years of relevant experience as Internal Auditor (NOT Internal Control)
- Financial and operational Audit Experience

Knowledge/ Experience Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
