We are currently looking for a Manager Business Support BU West to join us at Germany, Wavin Germany GmbH . If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

 

Key responsibilities

Pricing support –

  • Key account agreements preparation and admin. List price admin, monthly price admin, pricing communication and project accruals

  • Harmonization of Pricing conditions to reduce complexity, clean-up, standardize, etc. along with supporting large local tenders

  • Develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies in alignment with the company's overall business objectives and market dynamics – Pricing Waterfall Methodology.

  • Configure and maintain Pricing Policy within the ERP to ensure consistency and compliance.

  • Lead pricing analysis and modelling to determine optimal price points, discounts, and promotions.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue, profitability, and market share.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to gather insights and ensure pricing strategies are well-integrated.

  • Identify areas of margin improvement through pricing adjustments and recommend actions to achieve targets.

  • Monitor pricing performance, including revenue, margin, and customer retention, and recommend adjustments as needed. Provide analysis and recommendations for Project Sales and Quotations

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing performance and recommendations to senior management.

CRM Admin

  • Specify user requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria for the development team

  • Work with business units teams to understand their specific needs and requirements and match these to the global ambition.

  • Leading the development of opportunity management and lead management.

  • Responsible for training and documentation of the CRM to ensure a good local adoption of the product.

Sales excellence

  • Develop and drive the adoption of processes, tools, initiatives and commercial programs to increase sales productivity, growth and achievement of quarterly targets in partnership with the BU

  • Champion the SAMBA program, accompanying cadence meetings, training the team and ensuring the implementation of the methodology.

  • Participate and ensure the alignment between sales and marketing for the development of SAMBA sales tools and plans for capturing leads and MOO. KPI monitoring

  • Specialist in the use of CRM Dynamics tools, monitoring performances and suggesting improvements after consultation with the team.

  • Develop tools to build sales force knowledge and skills, Identifying skills gaps and help deliver relevant training and content: classroom training, field training tools, e-learning

  • Participate in Business Excellence initiatives, in coordination with BU and local sales leadership to ensure the team is supporting key decision-making.

  • Work with the Business Unit Director and the sales leadership team to design and deliver a Sales Force Effectiveness strategy and program that will build fundamental sales skills, resulting in improved business results and revenue.

  • Configure sales team KPIs in alignment with Business Units Director, continuously monitor through dashboards and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Design Sales Incentives together with Business Units Director, sales leaders and People.

  • Work with sales, service, and support teams to monitor customer-related operational activities to ensure the region maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Leadership of the NPS/REX project in the Business Unit.

Ecommerce

  • Liaison between Commercial and IT teams, able to ensure eBusiness and digital platforms work smoothly while enabling best possible customer experience by maximizing digital and zero touch order intake

  • Optimizing the daily sales and realize the budgets, planning, and (sales-aligned) targets sell-out, ensuring profitability and growth of the e-commerce channel.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on maximizing online sales performance and Customer Service to drive efficiency adopting digital tools and processes.

PMO (BIM, Sustainability, Market Intelligence, etc.)

  • Serve as Project Management Office (PMO), supporting BU head on various and commercial different tasks and projects (not falling in one of the other responsibility areas)

  • Work closely together with Central Sustainability and BU leaders to secure and keep track of Sustainability developments in the local countries within the BU

  • Drive market intelligence from a local / BU perspective (market development, Competitor landscape etc.


Our requirements

  • Preferable a Master degree or Bachelor degree in Engineering / Finance / Economics / Analytics with a high level of analytical skills.

  • Between at least 5-6 years of experience in an international matrix organization with strategic and operational thinking mindset.

  • Demonstrable experience of successfully Managing a large and complex Commercial and Sales Excellence function at a senior level.

  • Should be commercially savvy with an ability to manipulate, interpret, report and present complex data.

  • Ability to coordinate and forge consensus across various senior commercial stakeholders with diverging interests.

  • Open to new and other ideas, good networker and team leader.

  • Experience with leading / being part of change management process at organizational level.

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (ideally Dynamics) and analytics (Power BI).

  • Understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people/companies. are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies).

  • Affinity with digital marketing, e-commerce, analytics and customer insights.

  • Excellent communication in English with ability to influence and lead by example. Knowledge of Dutch, German, French or Italian is preferred.

  • (Nice to have) Experience with B2B E-Commerce and Infrastructure project sales.
