Overview

The Technical Sales Specialist plays a critical role in expanding Wavin's stormwater product opportunities by providing technical expertise, project coordination, and inside sales support. This role is central to driving specifications, enhancing customer value, supporting the sales team across North America, and managing inside sales duties.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assessing Civil Engineering Plans to identify the opportunities for Wavin products and managing the client project tracking & accounts to support sales in winning this work
  • Leveraging Wavin Design Tools and AutoCAD to provide Wavin product designs
  • Leveraging Bluebeam software and others to “Take Off” Wavin product opportunities from civil engineering plans or internal designs to create a Bill of Materials
  • Completing Quotes based on customer lists or Bills of Materials 
  • Proactive job search and estimate for potential product conversion to Wavin UCR products
  • Contact new potential customers to convey competitive advantages of UCR products
  • Manage project pipeline and independently gain sales for UCR products as an inside sales agent.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced skills with drafting software (AutoCAD)
  • Advanced capabilities with Windows and Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Meticulous and able to work quickly without compromising accuracy.
  • Ability to read Civil Engineering Plans and work with 2D or 3D documents.
  • Advanced Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience for work management or quoting preferred.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu or other Engineering Mark-Up Software, or other drafting software.

  • Ability to independently manage complex projects and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfort with video communication and professional presence.
  • Ability to present design solutions Wavin solutions to potential customers through MS Teams.

Salary Range

    • Above average salary with sales compensation through quarterly bonuses ($100K-$130K)
    • Total compensation (including benefits): Company subsidized healthcare, 401km bonuses, PTO, etc.
    • Increased salary range for job related skills that increase the market value, especially in stormwater product/application knowledge.
