Dura-Line, an Orbia Business & a global leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Reel Return Administrator to join our customer service department. This is a remote position with the ability to work from your home office. We are seeking a passionate individual that will not only work with customers to bring back reels but will also work closely with logistics companies to negotiate rates as well as coordinating RA’s and shipments with local plant personnel. This person must be able to work well in teams and have a good understanding of the entire reel return process and how it affects Dura-Line. Position goals:

The Reel Return Administrator will be responsible for the administrative day-to-day reel return program through interaction with customers and logistics companies.  This person will make decisions using independent judgement and direction from the Reel Return Coordinators and Director of Commercial Operations on day-to-day issues.  The end goal of the reel return program is to work with customers to incentivize them to return reels to the plants as a form of cost savings to the company along with minimizing environmental impact through the re-use of steel reels.  This position will also interact heavily with logistics companies, negotiating rates to ensure customers and company goals are met and looking for new customers.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for initial calls and email from customers
  • Proactively follow up on shipped orders for current customers and look for new customers who buy conduit and convince them to participate in the reel return program
  • Will be the primary person for reporting and tracking all reel return metrics
  • Work with customers on any discrepancies with their load and educate them on how to follow Dura-Line mandated procedures
  • Assist accounting on following up on all uncashed checks with customers
  • Create RA’s and BOL’s for vendors/customers
  • Set up new accounts
  • Must have good relationships with all plant personnel
  • Must be able to process several requests per day with minimal issues

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $40,000-$45,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. 

 

The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
