We are currently looking for a National Contract Manager - Stormforce to join us at Wavin. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
The role
- Developing and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Studying the requirements, duties, and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and industry regulations
- Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Researching business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts
- Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts
- Review and maintain the Accreditations achieved to date, ensuring that all requirements throughout the year are met to ensure StormForce abides by the requirements needed to maintain these
- Provide guidance on contract matters to operational staff, including training to the team and other employees in contracting practices and procedures
- Maintaining, updating, and improving contractual records
- Ensure excellent management of HSE activities, with the focus on ‘zero accidents’: safeguarding, as a minimum, common law and statutory requirements. Compliance by sub-contractors
- Managing day to day performance to meet KPIs
- To ensure that all relationships with key customers / installers are maintained and enhanced in line with business strategy
- Develop the skills required to work with Technical to become the lead role for all StormForce enquiries/projects, to include ensuring all quotes, calculations and drawings meet the customer’s needs
- To manage all Wavin StormForce contracts to ensure project is delivered to the customer’s expectations
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/suppliers to meet the business requirements
- To produce all contract documents for specific projects
- Working with Technical, manage all StormForce pricing tools and update accordingly to coincide with cost/pricing demands
- To act as final signatory for all contract pricing
- Close engagement with the wider Commercial teams to manage and progress the Project Pipeline
- Assist the Global MSI&S Product Manager and the UK & Ireland MSI&S Commercial Manager for UCR on a Commercial prospective where routes to market through the StormForce WOW may or, can be utilised
- In addition to these defined areas of responsibility this role will support the wider business area as appropriate in accordance with your own skill set
The profile
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Able to produce and understand a working set of RAMS
- A sound commercial awareness of the Building Products and Construction Industries
- Technical Competence
- Knowledge of Contract Management (Essential)
- Financial and Budgetary Understanding
- Good standard of written and verbal communication
- Construction/Site Knowledge
- 5yrs + Contract Management Experience
- Good levels of PC literacy in the main Microsoft packages
- Effective planning and problem-solving skills
- Be self-motivated and self-starting
- Flexible and adaptable
- Sound business acumen and commercial awareness
- Ability to negotiate at a senior level
- Results Driven
- Exercise confidentiality and discretion, where required
