We are currently looking for a Global Procurement Director - Indirect Procurement to join our global team. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

Reporting to the Director Global Procurement, the Global Procurement Director - Indirect Procurement will be responsible for the Global Category sourcing strategy for Indirect Procurement (Logistics & Supply Chain, Services and CAPEX). Deliver benefits, including top-line and bottom-line value contributions associated with the sub-categories, for which they are accountable. Foster Global supplier relationships collaborating with senior stakeholders in all functional areas, including the B&I Leadership Team, and BUs globally to deliver benefits across multiple spend categories. Lead, manage, and develop a team of regional and global Category Managers responsible for Logistics & Supply Chain, Services and CAPEX across the B&I Business Group. Build and maintain close relationships with stakeholders to optimize value, mitigate risk and manage the innovation process with suppliers to align on long-term strategic priorities for Orbia.

The role

  • Manage, coach & develop the Global Indirect Procurement Category Team to work efficiently and ensure all KPIs are fulfilled (Safety, Savings, Contract & Code of Conduct Compliance, Vendor Management, EcoVadis).
  • Advancing business process through leading class standards implementation.
  • Delivering high value to top line growth and bottom-line value contribution (savings).
  • Develop the Global sourcing strategy and policies, focusing on the benefits achievement and plans related to all Indirect related sub-categories.
  • Continuous drive for optimising working capital, costs, and service. Oversee and deliver annual value improvements in the relevant sub-categories.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key groups of senior business stakeholders.
  • Managing Key supplier relationships through robust vendor management to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contract compliance management for global Indirect Procurement initiatives, including regular reviews and supplier assessments.
  • Support and Business Unit Procurement teams to deliver best practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and nurture strong collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working with and leading virtual teams.
  • Effective and proactive communication across all mediums to a wide audience including c-suite.
  • Proficient influencer and negotiator.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Inventory management experience in a high-volume fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating and influencing positive change with internal business partners; must have a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience leading global tenders and managing complex negotiations.
  • Effective leadership qualities with global perspective
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to act autonomously, managing resources and priorities.
  • Cross-functional business experience, with understanding of procurement and finance.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Expertise related to specific categories (CAPEX, Services, Logistics & Supply Chain).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical expertise.
