We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join us at Hardenberg, Netherlands. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

The role

 

As a Project Engineer you will be part of our passionate, enthusiastic team and working in truly international environment. In this challenging role you will be managing multiple projects with budget responsibilities up to 4 million euro, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and support various Business Units.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, scheduling, managing and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies performance standards and specifications
  • Interacting daily with the stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate clearly with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor/masters degree in mechanical and/or control engineering or similar technical field
  • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
  • Certified for safety regulations (VCA)
  • Experience in moulding and polymerprocessing
  • Familiarity with Prince2 / project management
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Experience in SAP/ ERP systems
  • Excellent communications skills in English, both verbally as well as in writing
  • Capabilities to build trustworthy relationships
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
