Job Summary/ Purpose
Polymer Solutions (Vestolit) is looking for an Area Sales Account Manager, to be responsible for developing profitable growth in three areas:
- Develop profitable growth in our three main target markets worldwide by developing current and potential target Customers.
- Select and drive the best distribution channels for international sales
- Identify and develop new markets for our products
Main Responsibilities
- Develop a track record of year-over-year profitable revenue growth, including robust new business development, delivering the planned budget.
- Ability to identify unseen business opportunities.
- Drive profitability through value selling and pricing
- Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills and tools
- Establish, track, and close new business targets consistent with short- and long-term objectives at designated accounts within the territory.
- Assist in development of annual budgets and objectives.
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts as to key customer demand and new/lost business impacts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and strong technical aptitude desired.
- Mid career, 5 – 10 years of experience as sales manager.
- Excellent organization, problem solving and project management skills.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities required.
Knowledge/ Experience Required
- Must be customer focused, an effective team player, and able to operate with a sense of urgency.
- Able to effectively interact with customers at all levels, from CEO to plant personnel. Able to effectively gain support from internal resources
- Experience in plastics processing (especially PVC plastisols or organosols) will be a plus.
- Participation in the coatings industry will be desirable if the above cannot be met.
- Familiarity with domestic and international safety and transporting regulations would also be an added benefit.

Relocation Sponsorship:
- Polymer Solutions (Vestolit) will not cover international/ national relocation.
The compensation for this position will typically range from $93,000 to 151,000yr (or post the hourly starting rate). The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
