Ensure that products consistently meet quality standards and customers’ expectations. Maintain and develop quality standards for products and ensure they are communicated and achieved. Adhere to all Company safety, health, and loss control policies and procedures. Participates in safety, health, and loss control training so that at a minimum a general knowledge of applicable, OSHA, and state requirements are maintained. Responsible for ensuring all direct reports receive required safety, health and loss control training along with monitoring employee’s performance for compliance.
Development and Maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Create, implement, and continually improve quality policies, procedures, and standards within the organization.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, etc.
• Follow up in the Quality agreement required for customers.
Leadership in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Activities
• Oversee all inspection, audit, testing, and verification processes to maintain high standards of quality.
• Ensure consistent product and process quality throughout all stages of production or service delivery.
Conduct Internal and External audits.
• Plan and execute internal audits.
• Coordinate third-party audits.
• Manage corrective actions and follow up activities.
• Respond to Quality questionnaires requested by customers.
Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Investigate internal nonconformities and customer complaints.
• Coordinate root cause identification, corrective/preventive actions, and follow-up.
Monitor Quality Performance.
• Track KPIs such as % nonconformance product, customer complaints and audit results.
• Analyze trends and present performance reports to management.
Manage documentation and records.
• Maintain accurate and updated quality documentation.
Train and support staff
• Provide training on quality standards, procedures and defect identification.
Supplier Quality Management.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage quality issues due to the raw materials.
Conduct any special project work as requested by the Technical Manager
Work safely and in accordance with company and statutory safety requirements, ensure that any staff reporting to or working with the job holder understand and work in accordance with these requirements.
