We are currently looking for a Global Financial Analyst BP&P CEO to join us at Poznan, Poland, Wavin Polska, an Orbia business . If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
Main purpose
The role is focusing on reporting and analysis, supporting the managerial closing activities, budgeting and forecasting and other ad-hoc analysis.
The role executes with rigor, accuracy and timeliness all reporting processes, providing timely and accurate financial information. By using analytical skills and financial knowledge, support is provided for decision making processes within the Group by providing insightful and thoroughly reporting and analysis. Alignment, standardization and streamlining of reports, use of common accounts and definitions and KPIs is also part of the responsibility.
Areas of focus will be amongst others sales & margin, Opex, capex, P&L and BS reporting. Main stakeholders are the different members of the BP&P team as well as people in local organizations across the world.
This role has a global scope.
Main responsibilities:
• Provide qualitive management reporting across number of financial areas like P&L, BS, Opex, Capex and Sales & Margin.
• Provide analysis and proactively highlight abnormal variances to support management in making decisions or focus priorities.
• Support in further developing, improving and harmonizing current management information.
• Support in system changes and roll out of Global Orbia tools.
• Support month end closing process.
• Support monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting process.
• Work closely with BP&P colleagues and regional & local organizations for providing an overall view to management about the evolution and performance of B&I.
• Contribute to delivery of a visually compelling story for actuals, forecast and budget.
Our requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ economics required, accounting studies preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience in finance planning and reporting roles
• Accounting expertise and IFRS knowledge required, preferably 3+ years
• A track record of ad-hoc and standard financial analysis
• Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP suite, Central Finance and SAP Analytical Cloud), databases and reporting/analysis packages
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with educated business judgment and assertiveness.
• Solid financial acumen, expertise in recording, classifying, examining and analyzing financial transactions in accordance with defined regulations (IFRS) in order to provide opportunities for improvement in performance.
• Process mapping with an eye toward simplification and standardizing reporting packs and cross checking to preserve accuracy.
• Proactive, can do attitude, able to perform in a multitasking and dynamic environment.
• A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and follow up.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus.
• SAP and SAP Analytical Could experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite (excel and ppt mainly)
