We are looking for the Candidates for the position of:

Finance Controller - Wavin Middle East

Wavin Middle East is a dynamic and growing company, part of the global Orbia Group. Based in Dubai, we are a small yet ambitious organization with approximately 20 customers in the region and significant potential for growth. Our team is supported by a corporate international structure, including the Territory team and Shared Service Center (SSC).

We are seeking a Finance Controller to join our team and help us achieve our growth ambitions. This role will be pivotal in ensuring sound financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end closing process in cooperation with SSC and territory/corporate management.
• Prepare regular financial statements in accordance with corporate requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to senior management and collaborating with territory and corporate teams.
• Oversee cash flow management, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits.
• Optimize and enforce financial controls and processes.
• Report on financial performance to senior management, providing key insights into trends and opportunities.
• Provide financial and business support to the local team.

Requirements:

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (knowledge of the local Arabic language is a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in financial management.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
