MAIN PURPOSE

Manage the technical-commercial activities within the assigned region to contribute to the achievement of the sales budget and the business growth, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Geosynthetics Management of Mexico.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage key accounts critical to the development and growth of the business.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to our clients (contractors, designers, government entities, distributors, etc.) to ensure the correct application of our solutions in their projects, thereby generating added value.
  • Conduct consultative sales (based on in-depth client knowledge, value-added proposals, and differentiation) with all customers to support the growth and market generation of the MSI Geosynthetics business unit.
  • Advise government and private entities to ensure that the solutions manufactured and distributed by MSI’s Geosynthetics unit are specified within their technical standards.
  • Lead the collection process to ensure all customer accounts are up to date with their payments.
  • Promote multilevel relationship-building with client support areas to ensure they perceive the added value offered by the MSI Geosynthetics business unit.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competition (both technical and commercial) to contribute to the development of strategies that uphold our market leadership.
  • Prepare preliminary designs and recommendations using geosynthetics for various civil engineering applications to offer clients cost-benefit advantages in their projects, and follow up to convert this work into sales.
  • Deliver training sessions on design and applications of geosynthetics to promote the technology among public agencies, construction firms, consulting companies, designers, and others.
  • Promote awareness and usage of geosynthetics through technical conferences, seminars, university lectures, and other events that positively impact the future growth of the geosynthetics market.
  • Document case studies of geosynthetics-based solutions to support knowledge sharing and contribute to the market growth of Mexichem Soluciones Integrales’ Geosynthetics business unit.
  • Research and analyze global knowledge and new developments in geosynthetic solutions to maintain market leadership.
  • Develop and support the updating of engineering tools (technical data sheets, brochures).
  • Actively participate in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s management systems related to quality, occupational health and safety, environmental responsibility, and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) compliance—ensuring adherence to legal requirements, Mexichem’s policies, and corporate guidelines to promote employee well-being and organizational improvement.
  • Understand and comply with the principles outlined in Mexichem’s Code of Ethics, corporate values, Human Rights Policy, and Internal Work Regulations, all within the framework of our organizational culture.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum: Degree in Civil Engineering (Desirable: Master’s degree in Geosynthetics or Road Engineering).
  • 4 years of experience as a Technical Sales Advisor in geosynthetics.
  • 2 years of experience as a Site or Project Engineer.
  • Solid knowledge of geosynthetics.
  • Advanced conversational English (non-negotiable).
