Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the Master Data Operations team within the Shared Services organization, ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant creation and maintenance of master data across key domains (e.g., customer, vendor, material, finance). This role is critical in supporting business operations, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 9 master data specialists.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
- Manage workload distribution, performance reviews, and training plans.
- Extremely good in open communication.
- Very pro-active and think outside the square.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations of master data creation, updates, and deactivation processes.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and data quality standards.
- Drive process standardization and automation across regions and business units.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for business units, IT, and data governance teams regarding master data day to day operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and support business initiatives.
- Part of the Global Enterprise Data Management (EDM) leadership team.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, data policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
- Support the rollout of new tools, templates, and data quality initiatives.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in master data management operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a global or regional setting.
- Strong understanding of master data & data governance.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP and MDG is a plus) and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with managing budget.
