Are you looking for new challenges in Wavin SSC? 
GL Accountant position is waiting for you 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Intercompany accounting – recording financial transactions between different legal entities within the same parent company; reconciliation & reporting IC positions, settlement IC positions; 

  • Fixed assets activities: depreciation, activation, retirements; transfers; 

  • VAT declarations, Intrastat, SAF files activities; 

  • End of month activities: accruals, journal entries, prepayments, accounts revaluation and reclassification; 

  • Monthly/quarterly/yearly Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation; 

  • Internal controls/SOX controls preparation; 

  • Cooperation with internal companies and other teams in the SSC; 

  • Internal/external audit support; 

  • Identification and implementation of potential process improvements 

Requirements: 

  • University degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics field (or equivalent Accounting course) 

  • Experience in a similar accounting function (2 year)  

  • Knowledge of SAP – will be a benefit  

  • Good knowledge of English – both spoken and written (min. B2 level); 

  • Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel (Power Query will be a benefit) 

  • Communication skills; 

  • Ability to work in a team; 

  • Excellent organization; 

  • Problem solving skills; 

  • Attention to details
