Investor Relations Manager

An Investor Relations Manager will support the Investor Relations area in achieving its strategic objectives with the highest level of excellence and integrity​as well as be responsible for assisting with the interactions and engagement with investors and analysts in Mexico, taking the lead in some meetings. Support the Director Investor Relations and CFO with analysis and preparation of quarterly earnings materials and annual investor update meetings. Assist in targeting investors for communication.​ 

 

  • An Investor Relations Manager has a solid grasp of a wide range of corporate finance topics such as valuation, financial analysis, modelling, etc. 
  • An Investor Relations Manager will have a thorough knowledge of relevant financial, mathematical, and accounting techniques as the position requires analysis of financial statements / reports produced by the Business Groups / Financial Planning to draw conclusions in relation to performance, areas of concern, and trends. Such conclusions should be shared in a simplified manner to direct supervisor and explained as appropriate to investors / analysts.
  • ​Ability to identify key issues related to the Company’s performance, investor concerns, analysts’ reports, peer, and industry knowledge amongst others and analyze problems to reach thoughtful conclusions.
  • ​Ability to create industry and peer’s benchmarking to educate him/herself to have more productive and educated conversations with the financial market.
  • ​Writes convincing, thoughtful, and thorough memoranda, letters and investor presentation materials dealing with complex topics.
  • ​Takes responsibility for substance, conclusions, and quality.
  • ​Effectively conveys complex ideas in a persuasive manner as well as responds well to unanticipated questions.
  • ​Organizes assignment, develops work plan, sets proper priorities effectively.
  • ​Create and execute project plans based on the priorities of the business.
  • ​Demonstrates commitment to excellence performing to the highest standard.
  • ​Displays integrity by doing the right thing with the highest ethical and business standards.
  • ​Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensures that commitments to constituents are met.
  • ​Displays insight, discretion, and good judgement in making decisions and dealing with stakeholders.
  • ​Develop earnings materials such as press releases, scripts, Q&A, and other important documents for quarterly closings.
  • Ensures strong and good relationship with the regulators (BMV and CNBV) 

 

Knowledge

  • Previous experience in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations.
  • ​Strong analytical skills such as analyzing financial statements and reports, drawing conclusions, identifying key issues, and conveying relevant content to internal and external parties. 
  • ​Strong communication skills​ 

 

Education/Experience

  • Previous experience (4 to 8 years) in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations
