We are currently looking for a Manager BU Andean S&OP Consolidation B&I  to join us at Andean. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

 

Main Purpose (Briefly state the job’s overall objective)

 

To lead the development and execution of the BU S&OP Process in line with Global strategy and S&OP ambitions.

 

Role focus is to transform demand, supply and inventory plans into sustainable S&OP processes and execution on a monthly basis. In this role you are required to be able to overseeing the monthly S&OP process and ensuring that every month a well-balanced review including scenario and risk/opportunities analysis is being created to drive decision making. This means you need to be able to drive transparency on how our demand and supply is balanced by BU, thereby being in control and anticipating on long term events vs. ad hoc changes. Next to that you are required to give a monthly update on your BU S&OP KPIs and share BU updates in the Executive S&OP.

 

To be successful in the role you must not only be an expert in S&OP process but very analytically minded and excellent in communicating concepts and information in a way that enables others to easily understand and effectively support the further development and execution. Hence you have an important connector role within the S&OP process and the BUs.

  • To support S&OP development in line with defined strategy and goals (road map, tools, processes, and materials)
  • To support strong S&OP execution, hence balancing and risk mitigation per BU
  • Team player as we work in a matrix organization. Key stakeholders are BU SC, BU VP, BU Finance and MPL teams (Supply planning, excellence, mfg. directors)
  • Facilitator role steering various elements of the BU S&OP process.
  • Engage with S&OE lead, demand manager and supply planning managers to ensure we have and E2E process and drive improvements during process.

Complexity of the Job (i.e. The occupant manages vendors from different geographical regions with various financial and legal conditions, level and impact of decisions the occupant needs to make.)

 

  • The role covers collaboration with internal stakeholders across full of BU and is therefore complex in itself next to supporting BU demand mgt. Establish scenarios to ensure objective and fact-based decision making and risk management on the 0-18 months horizon (orchestrate needed input and quality).
  • The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills across E2E organization (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain) from Specialist to VP level.
  • Supporting all aspects of the S&OP Process using Global frameworks as well as Global / Local best practice to drive needed development in monthly process execution.
  • As this role also is required to work with external parties the S&OP process should not only look within B&I but also involve external stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Play a key role in the S&OP Process driving continuous improvement in line with Strategy and goals (tools, processes, and materials)
  • Lead creation of demand, supply and inventory planning and lead monthly BU S&OP meetings
  • Consolidate S&OP findings and report into Executive commmittee
  • Build, maintain and develop relationships with all major stakeholders and input providers.
  • Facilitator role and hence drive strong forum behavior and execution of purpose and mandate. Ensure clear decision making and deployment.
  • Engage with S&OE lead, BU SC, demand manager and supply planning managers to ensure we have and E2E process and drive improvements during process.
  • Ensure proper information management to at all times have your most important stakeholders be held informed and in case required request for decision making.
  • Strong demand mgt and forecasting responsibilities including focus on inventory mgt.

Collaborate and ensure robust assumption driven input linked to scenario planning (e.g. capacity expansion).

Strategic Procurement

Collaborate and ensure robust assumption driven input linked to scenario planning.

Finance

Build solid understanding of the Finance area and processes. Collaborate and onboard Finance into Financial Reconciliation process and ensure robust assessment of scenarios including financial impact of decisions.

Logistics management

Collaborate and ensure robust assumption driven input linked to scenario planning (e.g. pallet positions and truck capacities).

Demand management

Collaborate and ensure robust assumption driven input linked to scenario planning.

Global S&OP Consolidation

Engage actively in cross collaboration to support further development of the Wavin IBP process. Explore best practice from other regions/OCs and share own learnings and input.

Education

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree

Desirable: Degree in relevant business discipline ie: supply chain, finance, engineering

Knowledge required (To perform satisfactorily in this job what types of experience is required?)

  • Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team builder, ability to interact cross functional within the BU to drive IBP cycle and drive decisions
  • Experience on S&OP / IBP process as well as on end to end supply chain
  • Tactical & Operational planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage complexity and be able to escalate issues when needed
  • Experience on APO or other advanced planning tool (IBP, SAC, etc)
