Quality Technician , Night Shift (TX)

Then this may be a great fit for you!  At Dura-Line, we create what connects us! We're seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to perform inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with our production team to drive continuous improvements and uphold the highest safety and quality standards for our products.

 

Position Details: 

  • Schedule: 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.(15 days a month,84 hours a pay period)

  • Work Environment: Manufacturing, Non-Climate Controlled, Variable Temperatures, Team Oriented, On-The-Job Training 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct daily line audits to proactively correct defects and identify root cause corrective actions. 

  • Inspect and test manufactured goods to ensure safety and meet/exceed acceptable tolerances. 

  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, focusing on maintaining product integrity. 

  • Actively contribute to a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work and safe practices in a continuous improvement setting. 

  • Communicate effectively with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of high-quality products. 

  • Exhibit a team-oriented, goal-driven, and motivated approach.

 Occupational and Physical Requirements: 

  • Utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets specifications. 

  • Safety-sensitive position. 

  • Learn and use laboratory and inspection equipment. 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Recognize color spectrum. 

  • Ability to step over and/or bend under objects. 

  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable assistance.

The compensation for this position will typically range from $20-$22 per hour..  The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  

The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
