MAIN PURPOSE (Briefly state the job's overall objective)

The Logistics National Manager – Senior has the main mission of ensuring that customers receive the products sold by Orbia at the correct destination and agreed service level required. Responsible for all reception of raw materials, production registration, storage (finished product, raw materials and spare parts warehouse) and shipping.

He has all transport management under him/her, being responsible for a budget of US$48M, serving 17.6K customers, receiving and shipping 150k tons annually.

Under his responsibility are 380 direct and 300 indirect headcounts and 8 Distribution Centers spread across Brazil

 

 

 

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Briefly describe the most important aspects of the job; no more than 10)

  • Ensure the correct service level to customers, being responsible for on-time delivery to sales orders

• Responsible for managing 680 people, ensuring all aspects of workplace safety and people management – ​​Performance, turnover, productivity, located in 8 Distribution Centers spread across Brazil

• Responsible  budget of US$48M – Transport and storage

• Responsible for the production record of all factories in Brazil, inventory management and accuracy

• Ensure that the entire order flow, after allocation, through transport planning, routing, separation, loading, shipping, proof of delivery and payment of freight, happens as designed

• Responsible for CAPEX projects involving the logistics area – US5M/year

• Responsible for managing logistics suppliers, logistics operators, 3 Pls, carriers and autonomos drivers, ensuring their performance like stablished in contracts

• Ensure, for the company's management, correct information about what will be invoiced and delivered within each period, and manage the strategies for the end of the month

• Annual budget realization for the next cycle

• Point of contact for the logistics area with sales, production, FI and HR areas

 

3. COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB (i.e. The occupant manages vendors from different geographical regions with various financial and legal conditions and the level and impact of decisions the occupant needs to make, manages revenue, CAPEX, Sales, etc.)

• Responsible for receive, storage and delivery the entire volume produced and sold in Brazil – 313Ktons, being handled by 680 head counts – 380 own and 300 third parties

• Budget under your control of US$48M

• Management of 8 distribution centers – own DCs, DCs combined with factories (where it is responsible for the entire flow of raw materials and packaging) and operated by third parties – logistics operators.

• Responsible for the service  to all customers in Brazil – On time

• Capex of US$5M/year

• Responsible, together with the commercial area, for the relationship with the customer regarding aspects of delivery and service level provided.
