Finance Director, Orbia F&EM US/CA

Finance Director

 

MAIN PURPOSE:

 

  • Serves as the regional finance leader for F&EM US and Canada entities.
  • Serves as the global finance leader for Energy Materials Business Unit.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

In the regional finance leadership role:

 

  • All aspects of Financial Controlling (Close, Group/Stats/Tax Audits, Accounting, Financial Reporting); Financial Compliance (SOX, Internal Audits, MDG, SOD, DoA, Legal Entity); Operations Controlling (Costing, Inventory, Capex, Fixed Assets); Business Controlling (Regional management reporting, performance analysis, forecasts/plans); Financial Operations (AP/AR, T&E, Credit Mgmt); Local Corporate Finance (Taxes, Treasury Services, Risk Management/Insurance support)
  • Covering St Gabriel, Madison, and Waltham sites
  • Covering legal entities and operations in US and Canada
  • Revenue of $260M, EBITDA $110M, 155 employees (2023)

 

In the global finance leader role:

 

  • Business Partnering to VP of Energy Materials, supporting performance analytics, planning, and ad-hoc analysis to enable business unit performance delivery to plan and sound decision making (Strategy, Forecasting and Budgeting)
  • Responsible for project finance support to the major projects in the region (total spend $1Bn 2024-2027), which overlaps with Energy Materials:
    • LiPF6
    • 142b
    • St Gabriel Infrastructure
    • Custom Electrolytes
    • Government Grants/Contracts Billing (Fusion, Electrolytes, LiPF6)

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGE, & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting or related majors
  • English; Spanish desirable
  • Experiences working in manufacturing industry, CPA, MBA, international experiences, and understanding of systems & technology, are all pluses
  • Combination of past controllership and FP&A experiences highly desirable
  • Home base close to one of F&EM’s key hubs in the US highly desirable: Waltham, St Gabriel, Madison
  • Willing and able to travel 15-20% of time
  • 7-12 yrs of experience
