Your Role: As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce cost, ensure product quality, and promote safety. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams -including design engineering, quality, maintenance, and operations -to support new product introductions, stabilize processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also serves as a technical resource, supporting existing products and resolving process-related issues.

What You’ll Do:
- Keep our engineering documentation running smoothly by maintaining and improving product engineering standards and manufacturing BOMs—ensuring everything stays accurate, consistent, and up to date.
- Build and refine the processes that keep our plant moving, including developing, preparing, and maintaining manufacturing process routings.
- Continuously enhance how we manufacture our products by applying your knowledge of design, materials, tooling, equipment, and quality standards to evaluate and improve production methods.
- Champion our lean mindset by identifying ways to boost product quality, reduce cost, shorten cycle times, and strengthen overall reliability - always seeking better, smarter ways to work.
- Recommend thoughtful design and tooling improvements that help us maintain efficient, effective production methods.
- Use data and statistical insights to help estimate future manufacturing needs and support planning for growth and demand.
- Help shape our workspace for success by analyzing workforce utilization, space needs, and workflow - and by supporting layouts that create safe, efficient, and effective working environments.
- Support accurate work standards by developing and maintaining records for setup and run times across all manufacturing processes.
- Partner closely with Operations to provide technical expertise for plant layout decisions, equipment purchases or upgrades, and feasibility studies that guide smarter long‑term investments.
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong technical foundation, including experience with automation, digitalization practices, CAD assembly drawings, tooling design, and software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, and ERP/CRM systems (SAP/ODEN experience is a plus).
- Hands‑on experience managing CAPEX budgets and capital projects, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute effectively.
- An analytical, problem‑solving mindset—skilled at diagnosing process or equipment challenges and implementing sustainable, long‑term solutions.
- Experience in data management and document control, as well as familiarity with ISO processes and auditing procedures.
- Leadership skills that build others up, with the ability to train, coach, and guide peers or cross‑functional teams through daily tasks and project work.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills across teams and functions.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or related fields, ideally with exposure to plastics, extrusion, industrial engineering, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of process scale‑up, optimization, cleaning, and validation activities, and practical experience ensuring these steps meet operational and quality standards.
- A solid understanding of equipment specification, qualification, and automation, and how they support reliable, efficient production.
- The ability to lead or supervise small teams, fostering collaboration while driving successful project completion.

The compensation for this position will typically range from $80,500- $149,000 annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
