We at Dura-Line are looking for an experienced and engaging Senior People Business Partner (Human Resources Manager) to grow & develop our Elyria, OH plant & workforce. We are looking for a hands-on HR business partner who has partnered and worked alongside the operations team and has demonstrable experience in change management & organizational development. You will have the chance to imagine, standardize, and shape the future culture of Dura-Line from within our leading manufacturing sites.
We do not limit you to being an “HR Manager” but allow you to flourish as the lead process owner where you will:
- Develop & Implement local HR strategies & activities that support business objectives
- Partner with People Support resources to create solutions to execute better People Service while leading the execution and adoption of standard processes
- Subject-matter expert for HR Systems & Data Analytics, audit systems, create training framework, and be the site liaison for training framework and communication between management and employees
- Provide credible consultative services to the Plant Manager and leadership team to integrate strategies for employee engagement and organizational development
In this role, you will be tasked with building a successful site that supports key business drivers (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and company strategy by using LEAN practices, developing root cause & corrective actions to solve employees' issues, identifying critical metrics/KPI, and using data to drive or execute business decisions. You will represent the voice of the customer, enable continuous improvement in all business activities, and be part of this transformation journey to become the company of choice. You will support local employees and provide credible consultative services to the Plant Manager and leadership team to integrate values and culture in the way people are treated, improve productivity, and showcase how team members are recognized and celebrated.
You must be a high-performing, proven leader with an onsite manufacturing Human Resource Manager background with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on diverse HR experience to provide Total Rewards & Talent Management Stewardship to both hourly and salary employees onsite & resolving complex employee relations issues. You will be responsible for employee engagement, employee relations, local audits, participating in full-lifecycle recruitment & selection, managing communication and local rollout of employee health & welfare benefit education & incentive programs, implementing HR best practices, and ensuring the proper processes are followed. You will be a true Business Partner to help with training framework, supervisor/manager coaching, and employee development conversation, and resolve disputes and conflicts while leading the site strategically & successfully.
The incumbent in this role will be the primary HR point of contact for implementing Human Resource strategies and activities that support business objectives. “The compensation for this position will typically range from $108,000- $176,000/yr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
