We at Dura-Line are looking for a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist who is responsible for designing and delivering various L&D programs and initiatives, proactively partnering with various departments to provide development support, staying on top of trends in the upskilling/development space, and proposing new ideas, changes to current programs, and operating within outlined budget. The Sr. Learning & Development Specialist will work collaboratively and leverage team members on gathering feedback from the business and global roll out of learning programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the L.E.A.D leadership development program, evaluating coursework, assessing leaders, and developing competency development gap closure plans.

Include learning opportunities using classroom, live-and-online, self-paced e-learning, and blended learning methodologies.

Facilitate leadership development sessions that build and develop our leadership pipeline and organizational competencies.

Ensure a successful learner experience by managing pre-work, rosters, communications, tracking completion, and post-session follow-ups

Learning & Development on delivery of the Emerging Leaders program.

Serve as a trusted and valued business partner to department leaders, understanding key issues within their areas

Monitor external service providers to ensure programs are delivering upon scope and enhancing learner experience/development.

Assist in the design, implementation, conduction, and evaluation of new learning and development solutions for internal audiences that include assessments, curricula, experiential learning, and evaluative metrics

Work collaboratively with broader L&D team, HR Business Partners, and DEI, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

Understand and develop evaluation tools that measure impact and effectiveness of learning and development programs

Keep current with latest organizational and individual behavioral research and learning delivery technologies

Assist in managing projects including the development and oversight of project design plans, implementation plans, and on-going continuous improvement plans

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-
Hands on 5 years’ experience in Education/trainer/instructor or related field in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, production, assembly, plastics environment

Experience with crating training, instructional design for hourly roles
-
Experience with Learning Management Systems, including competency management
-
ISO 9000 or TL9000 experience/knowledge
-
Advanced proficiency in workplace learning and development principles and authoring tools with knowledge of Instructional design architecture

Firsthand work experience completing progress reports on employees until they qualify for the assigned position.

Experience with New Hire Program implementation

Solid Project Management experience

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work with all levels of the organization in a team environment

Ability to problem solve and suggest solutions to business problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
