We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Manager Key Accounts to join our BU Northern Europe team.
Reporting to the Sales Director UK and Ireland for B&I, the primary responsibility of this role will be to assume responsibility for leading a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring that the Merchant Sales Channel is well managed in-line with Company Sales and Marketing objectives. Other responsibilities include taking the lead in major Key Account negotiations to enable profitable growth, retain existing distribution and develop new growth opportunities. The job holder will also be successful for managing the senior relationship network with our major distributor partners.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities of the Senior Manager Key Accounts role involve;
- Positively engaging in Health and Safety following all guidelines at all times
- Delivering profitable growth within the Wavin product ranges
- Planning, leading, supporting and advising on all senior level negotiations within all the Key Account groups
- Ensuring that all team activities are aligned to the sales objectives and strategic direction of the business
- Developing and implementing UK sales strategies to grow specified products in line with overall strategy
- Successfully leading your team in line with business procedures throughout the HR lifecycle
- Ensuring that all relationships with key customers are maintained and enhanced in line with business strategy
- Developing and maintaining commercial terms authorisation procedures
The profile:

- Significant building products or construction industry experience
- Strong, accurate sales forecasting acumen
- The ability to successfully negotiate agreements at a national level
- Solid understanding, knowledge and experience of managing the sales process from ‘cradle-to-grave’ within our industry
- Success in driving data led, action orientated plans to successfully grow and drive teams
- Dynamism, ambition and energy with strategic decision making skills and able to act quickly and decisively in the best interests of the business
- Strong organisation and planning skills, flexibility and tenacity with first class influencing, negotiation and persuading experience
