We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager – Highbourne Group and Kingfisher Group (12-month secondment) to join our team across the UK. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director – Key Accounts, the Key Account Manager - Highbourne Group and Kingfisher Group will be responsible for achieving profitable sales growth through the development and management of our activities operating in all Highbourne and Kingfisher brands. The role will also be responsible for the management and negotiation of new and existing Wavin UK Trading Agreements alongside maintaining effective business to business relationships to support the key strategies, initiatives and drives for both parties.

  • Positive Engagement towards Health and Safety
  • Develop areas of performance to enhance the Customer experience
  • Improve Account Profitability
  • Maintain required contact plans for account
  • Plan, lead and support on all senior level negotiations
  • Ensure all reports/administration are factual, accurate and on time
  • To communicate regularly and widely at every level
  • Conduct all activities compliant to legal, regulatory and Company requirements
  • Successfully manage all budgets within the role’s remit
  • To provide monthly reports to line management
  • Implement new product and promotional campaigns
  • Co-ordinate Wavin and Customer departments to work effectively on delivering the trading plan

 

The profile

 

  • Basic understanding of Wavin Product Ranges
  • Experience of working in a similar level role in the building products and construction industry
  • Specific experience in supplying goods into the DIY Distribution Market
  • Demonstrable success of negotiation of complex and multi-faceted £1M+ Trading Agreements
  • Demonstrable success of Product Introductions and upselling in the DIY Distribution Market
  • Demonstrable success of solution based value added selling
  • Experience at operating within a highly driven Health and Safety environment. Highly committed to and focussed on accident prevention and incident reporting
  • Experience working effectively with individuals and teams across multiple departments
  • Significant building products or construction industry experience
  • Demonstrable results and a high achiever in a multi-national business or brand/market leader
  • Demonstable experience in designing and implementing strategic plans and intiatives
  • IT Literate in the Microsoft suite
  • Displays first class influencing, negotiation and persuading skills
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and verbal reasoning skills
  • Customer focused and market orientated with sound commercial awareness
  • High standard of presentation skills
