1. MAIN PURPOSE (Briefly state the job's overall objective)

To support the maintenance manager in ensuring that machinery and equipment operate safely, reliably and efficiently across all areas of the site through the application of optimization techniques, problem-solving and the application of new technology.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Briefly describes the most important aspects of the job)

• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Site Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 45001, PSM, SARI, NSF, KOSHER, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the current version of the Orbia Asset Integrity Management Standard PSMS-010-AIM.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, international and insurers’ mechanical standards.
• Review and analyze monthly maintenance costs for all departments and identify areas where improvements can be made.
• Define the scope of work for improvement opportunities, discuss/agree the potential benefits and implement the improvements.
• Support the Maintenance Superintendents in problem solving equipment failures to identify root causes.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to support investigations into equipment performance issues that are impacting production rates.
• Lead activities to optimize preventive maintenance programs according to the results of ITPM activities and AIM audits.
• Support the planning team to keep SAP data updated for Routing Sheets, Maintenance Plans, BOMs of critical plant equipment, etc.
• Evaluate the condition of mechanical equipment, proposing improvements or innovation strategies to extend the useful life of assets and reduce recurring failures.
• Identify opportunities where new technology can be implemented to reduce safety risks or to improve equipment performance.
• Participate in the preparation of the scope of work for the annual shutdown.
• Report any safety incidents or accidents immediately and participate in any subsequent investigations as required.
• Conduct regular Health and Safety inspections of the workshop areas to ensure they are safe and clear from waste and debris.

3. COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB (i.e., The occupant manages vendors from different geographical regions with various financial and legal conditions and the level and impact of decisions the occupant needs to make, manages revenue, CAPEX, Sales, etc.)

• Manage relationships with suppliers.
• Liaise with the planning, production and maintenance teams when planning activities.
• Liaise closely with the maintenance manager and maintenance superintendents to manage improvement activities.

7. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGE, & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (To perform satisfactorily in this job what type of knowledge and experience is required?)

Education

• Required: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 3 years in maintenance, reliability or integrity of assets in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Good working knowledge of maintenance management software (SAP PM) and data analysis (Power BI, advanced Excel) tools.
• Working knowledge of API, ASME, NFPA, ISO 55000, ASTM, ISO 4406 standards
• Good understanding of planned preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge in rehabilitation and repair of all types of process plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret and understand mechanical drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, electrical single lines (ESLDs) etc.,

Language

• English-B1

Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws)

• Ability to walk unaided in the plant area.
• Ability to read signage in all areas on site, plant, workshops, offices etc.,
• Ability to safely lift loads of up to 25kg close to the body.
