Job Title: Material Handler
LOCATION: Clinton, TN
SHIFT: 2nd Shift, 3:00PM - 11:15PM
Dura-Line is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Material Handler in the Clinton, TN operations. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production personnel and contributing to continuous improvement in delivering top-notch products and services to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Materials Handling:
-
Draw required materials from appropriate locations and set up for production lines.

Stage materials in the designated area for easy accessibility.
-
Set up materials according to the Supervisor’s instructions.
-
Pull finished product from production lines and deliver to proper staging area.
-
Set up and monitor resin vaccuum system from rail car delivery.
Resin System:
-
Set up and monitor the resin delivery system as per Supervisor’s instructions.
- Maintain proper levels of color mix for color feeders.

Monitor process & equipment
-
Understand the operation of pull-line feed equipment and maintain proper tape or cable in products requiring it.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-
Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing environment, preferable in materials handling position.

Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
-
Effective communication, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
-
Reading, writing, and mathematical competency.
-
Ability to read instructions for material requirements and specifications using English language.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain valid lift truck/forklift operations certification.
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.

Ability to hear and discern equipment sounds and noises.

Able to move about plant from one area to another, ability to bend, kneel, stoop and reach
-
Ability to mount and dismount safety from forklift while maintaining 3 points of contact at all times.
The compensation for this position will typically range from $18.25 - $19.50/hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. Shift Premium for working 2nd Shift scheduled hours is $1.50/hour.
