We are currently looking for an EMEA Fulfilment Optimization & Process Improvement Manager to join us in EMEA, Europe at Wavin, an Orbia Business. Main purpose
We are looking for a skilled and driven Intercompany Trade Optimization & Process Improvement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will systematically analyze and optimize our Intercompany Trade flows while focusing on continuous improvement and innovation. This role is essential in implementing standardized and automated processes, fostering a customer-centric mindset, and improving overall Intercompany Trade operations within our organization. You will work closely with different business units and global manufacturing operations functions to support optimization programs to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Main responsibilities:
- Intercompany Trade Flow optimization: Systematically analyze and optimize our Intercompany Trade flows, ensuring seamless operations and maximum efficiency across all units.
- Standardize processes: Implement and standardize automated processes, establishing a Standard Way of Working (WoW) and continuously improving them.
- Rule development & monitoring: Develop, adjust, and implement Intercompany Trade rules, such as allocation processes, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Customer-centric operations: Shift the organizational mindset towards customer-centric Intercompany Trade operations, encouraging a collaborative approach over silo-thinking.
- Master Data management: Improve and optimize master data governance management for Intercompany Trade goods.
- Inventory & Availability control: Enhance Intercompany Trade goods' inventory and availability control tools, ensuring coordination across all business units (BUs).
- PIPO Process coordination: Serve as the linking pin between BUs, PM, and Manufacturing during the PIPO process, ensuring smooth operations and communication.
- Excellence initiatives deployment: Lead and ensure the proper deployment of excellence initiatives to relevant teams within BUs and GMO, driving continuous improvement.
- Process Survey tool implementation & quality assessment: Implement and utilize process survey tools to assess the quality of processes across the organization. Continuously gather feedback to identify improvement areas and optimize processes.
- Local team support & improvement plans: Support local teams in identifying areas for improvement, helping to create and implement actionable improvement plans to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Seeking and translating best practices: Proactively seek and translate best practices from external industry benchmarks. Identify opportunities for integrating these practices into our operations to drive innovation and enhance performance.
- Execute Excellence team road map.
Optimization Program Support:
- Global system implementation: Support global system implementation initiatives, such as gATP, and execute tasks within the BPE framework.
- Employee development & training: Provide support in skills matrix development, employee training, development, and onboarding processes, ensuring a capable and well-equipped team.
- Project participation: Actively participate in various FFP-related projects, including footprint initiatives, and contribute to their successful execution.
Our requirements:
- Proven experience in Intercompany Trade process optimization, systems analysis, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Intercompany Trade flows, master data management, and inventory control.
- Experience with automation, standardization, and process improvement in a corporate setting.
- Ability to drive change and foster a customer-centric approach within Intercompany Trade operations.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in conducting ABC analysis and managing classification systems.
- Experience in implementing and using process survey tools for quality assessment.
- Proven track record of working with local teams to create and execute effective improvement plans.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and business units.
- Experience with global system implementations (e.g., gATP) is a plus.
- Experience with supporting employee development and training initiatives.
