Main Purpose

 The Specialist Master Data Operation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of daily master data across financial and operational systems. This role supports enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain a single source of truth for key data domains such as customer, vendor, product, and financial master data.

Main Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage master data records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Akeneo, CRM).
• Ensure data quality and compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, Ethixbase, SOX compliance).
• Participate in regular audits and cleansing of master data to eliminate duplicates and outdated entries.
• Support the implementation of global data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards to define data standards and decision rights.
• Document and maintain data management processes and workflows.
• Work closely with internal EDM & SSC stakeholders, and local BU Operations of all workstreams to align master data with business needs.
• Support MDE to provide training and support to end-users on data entry standards and tools.
• Utilize MDM tools such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Akeneo, CRM.
• Support integration and migration projects involving master data (e.g., ERP rollouts, system upgrades).
• Generate reports on data quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data issues monitored by MDM Operation team and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in a finance or enterprise data context.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP ECC; S4/HANA; SAP MDG).
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 Knowledge/ Experience Required

• Knowledge of at least 1 or 2 master data domains: Vendor, Customer, Material, Finance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a global environment.
• English is mandator and one additional foreign language; Spanish is a plus.
