We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst Digital to join us at Amsterdam Schiphol, the Netherlands, Wavin Nederland B.V., an Orbia business . If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

 

 

The role

 

The Global Senior Business Analyst Digital Commerce will be part of the Global Digital team, responsible for Digital solutions to inspire, empower and engage building professionals to build easier and better. We are a young and energetic team that is driving digitization of the customer experience, marketing tools and ordering processes globally. Our B2B platform grew in only 2 year after launch to 30+ countries, but we are still at the start of our ambitions. This is a global role, with opportunities to learn and grow as a professional and requires strong collaboration with colleagues around the globe.

 

You will report to the Global Director Digital Products and there will also be considerable interaction with our IT Development teams, the business excellence team and regional business support organizations, which gives you the opportunity to work with a high diversity of people, on difference organization levels and in different cultures. Currently, the Digital Products team consists of 5 Product Managers. You are the first business analyst Digital. You wouldn’t follow the standards, you will lead and create the standards both internally and for business analysts at our software development vendors.

 

First challenges to tackle

  • Improve data informed decision making for our ordering channels by creating valuable insights and conclusions from various data sources.
  • Play a key role in global digital transformation program by renewing commercial ordering processes. With a big focus on Latin America.
  • Co-create and own business cases with new business development team for strategic opportunities.


Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and transform them into new processes for the business and our IT ecosystem.
  • Analyze and evaluate current processes to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and enhanced efficiency in the digital ordering process (e.g. ordering channels, product information, pricing etc.)
  • Design, implement, and maintain workflow and business processes that support digital initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting areas such as order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into functional technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital operations and generate regular reports for teams, stakeholders, and leadership.


Our requirements:

  • Master or Bachelor degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Finance, Computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A results-driven self-starter with a strong desire to connect and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.
  • A proven track record and eagerness to translate concepts/requirements into tangible solutions with a customer first approach.
  • A growth mindset committed to continuous improvement, proactiveness and curiosity.
  • Intellectual strength in planning, strategy, analysis and problem-solving.
  • A unique blend of technical acumen, analytical skills, project management capabilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, with Spanish language skills considered desirable
