The role:

Reporting to the GLOBAL DIRECTOR IT DIGITAL PLATFORMS, the GLOBAL DIGITAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT will be part of a team, responsible for innovating, developing, and operating a market-leading Digital Platform that delivers against engagement, revenue growth, and profit targets. By enabling our customers by providing a platform that enables our applications to become an integrated functional eco-system.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing global capabilities of all Digital Products (including interfacing with SAP backend);
  • Responsibility for an overall Digital Architecture on a global scale;
  • Being responsible for technical and cost-effective scalable solutions;
  • Being able to prototype and build applications, to accelerate and scale for growth;
  • Playing a critical role in selecting the right third parties;
  • Innovating on a multi-application platform in different geographical regions;
  • Managing a multi-stakeholder context internally;
  • Collaborating with all POs to build balanced end-to-end solutions;
  • Advising and informing global management in the field of technology scaling challenges;
  • Managing tech-stack through the IT vendors;
  • Taking technical ownership of the Integration Platform to connect all of our systems.

 

Profile:

  • A bachelor/master's degree in Engineering or related field - education in E-commerce – will be an asset;
  • 10+ years’ experience in IT product development;
  • 2+ years’ experience in an international role;
  • Very good English skills – min. B2 upper intermediate level (written and spoken) - Spanish skills – will be an asset;
  • A proven background in architecting, implementing, leading, and delivering enterprise-scale projects/programs adhering to all (or a subset) of the principles behind SOA;
  • Great knowledge and understanding of the key platform players in the space of composable best-of-breed technology, most importantly: commerce tools, Sitecore, CRM Dynamics, SAP back-ends (ECC/S4Hana);
  • Proven cloud and serverless experience, preferably via Azure, AWS, or GCP;
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum framework;
  • Availability to travel internationally up to 10% (mainly across Europe);
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders and discover new insights, based on a self-understanding of analytical capabilities;
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Customer-oriented approach;
  • Proactive and curious mindset;
  • A team-player with great knowledge and understanding of operational excellence;
  • Intellectual strength in planning, strategy, analysis, and problem-solving.
